Boma Best


BOMA Canada tasked us with enhancing the identity of the BOMA BEST program, North America's foremost environmental certification initiative for existing buildings, boasting over 3,000 certified structures.

Originally focused on sustainability, BOMA Canada aimed to broaden the program to include healthy buildings and smart buildings. This expansion required a redesigned identity to clearly represent three streams (sustainable, healthy, and smart) and their five tiers (baseline, bronze, silver, gold, and platinum).

A key challenge was creating a brand architecture that simplifies communication of certifications and levels through building signage and digital displays, catering to occupants with varying familiarity with the BOMA BEST brand.

Our approach involved conducting a thorough competitive audit and hosting ideation workshops with BOMA's leadership to inform our design and communication strategies. Upon approval, we developed a comprehensive brand guidelines document for consistent implementation across regional chapters.
